THE ORIGIN OF THE COMPANY

The origin of the company Maxi Hoteles dates back to the 80’s:

A young and dynamic entrepreneur who started in the world of hospitality from an early age and from the first basis, one day thought about having his own hotel and, after many efforts he came to the conclusion that he must get away from the concept of large chain of macro occupation, and offer customers a small and welcoming hotel in the heart of the city, with an original decor and a very tight price and without being full of services that you never use and a natural and personal treatment. Because what you really need after walking the city is a comfortable rest.

Surprised by the enthusiastic reception given by customers to his first hotel, he did his best in the reform and care of small buildings located in the heart of Granada, with a common goal: to create comfortable, impeccable and personal hotels.

On the other side, he thought about those customers who prefer to stay away from the hectic environment of the city and look for a different accommodation, a place to escape and relax, with superb services and facilities and with easy and quick access to downtown. As a result of this concern, there is the acquisition in 2010 of the four-star Hotel Casa del Trigo that became the flagship of the Maxi Hoteles group, a charming hotel on the outskirts of Granada with the comfort and tranquillity of a small town.

And following that line of work of small hotels with directly and family attention, Maxi Hoteles Group has expanded its horizons out of Granada and it already manages Toledo Imperial Hotel *** in the historical centre of Toledo, and Madrid Torrejon Plaza Hostal *** located a few kilometres from Madrid.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Normally, the stay in a hotel is limited to sleep and going out to see the city. This is why we create spaces which decoration will not disappoint you, because they invite you to stay in them, making you feel like you are in a friend’s house, where we offer you all type of information you may need to live the city: monuments schedules, tickets, what to enjoy, where to eat, what cannot be missed in order to get inside the pleasures offered by Granada.

We are aware of our customers’ demands and so we offer both, the comfortable, design, functional hotel at the peak of the commercial and monumental Granada and the charming hotel, far from the busy city centre, but just 5 minutes from it, with everything considered necessary to rest, with facilities and services inviting you to rest after a hard day of tourism around the city.
