Hotel Casa del Trigo, a charming hotel that was opened in March 2008 and, after three years, it is consolidated as a reference hotel inside and outside our borders.
An old family house built at the end of the 19th century is the origin of this four-star hotel that, preserving the original facade, has renewed and enlarged all its inside in order to hold 48 warm, simple and welcoming rooms.
The hotel has a large hall to receive its guests, where they can admire the original marble stair with a handrail made of wood carved with wheat spike silhouettes, something that remind us that we are in an old flour factory of Santa Fe. Where the family dependencies were previously located, we can currently find six double rooms and two Junior Suites with their respective balcony to Avenida de la Hispanidad. Forty more room complete the total number of rooms of this hotel, with the enlargement on the both sides of the main house.
The Hotel Casa del Trigo is well aware of people with physical disabilities and has equipped, not just a room on the ground floor of the building with all the amenities they deserve, but the entire building is fully accessible for this type of customers or families travelling with children.
You will find us in Avenida de la Hispanidad of the historical city of Santa Fe (Granada), where, more than 500 years ago, the Catholic Kings signed with Christopher Columbus the Capitulations which allowed the Genoese sailor to finance his first journey to the Americas. In the year 1492 the Catholic Kings we camped in the same place where this city is standing today in order to finish the reconquest of the Kingdom of Granada, last Muslim stronghold on the peninsula.
The privileged location of Santa Fe, some minutes from the centre of Granada and in the crossroads of the A92, A92-G and A44, makes this hotel the perfect place to organize both your leisure and business trip. A lot of touristic attractions are offered here: The Alhambra of Granada, the Generalife, the Cathedral, the Cartuja, and the emblematic neighbourhoods of Albaycín, Sacromonte or Realejo, in the city, or the charming Routes of the Legacy of Al-Andalus, the Tropical Coast or the impressive Sierra Nevada with the southernmost ski resort in Europe.
